The Konan University Frontier Research Organization for New Themes (Konan FRONT) is a comprehensive facility which strives for social restoration by utilizing research results and intellectual achievements accomplished at the University. The connection between the industrial, administrative and academic worlds is promoted in the following ways: (1) through research support, such as the handling of funds for entrusted research and joint research projects; (2) through research symposiums, lectures, cultural exchanges and OB and OG connections; (3) through the coordination of research, technological development and administrative guidance; (4) through management of patent applications and new design applications; (5) through collaboration with the local community by contributing to businesses born at Konan University and research laboratories; (6) through the nurture and support of businesses that contribute to student ventures.
