With the advent of deregulation and global competition,
Japanese corporations are now seeking ways to meet the new
challenges posed by the changing business environment. The
EBA (Economics and Business Administration) Program was established
in 2002 to educate ambitious young men and women who hope to
take advantage of new business opportunities and develop new
ways of doing business with a global perspective in mind. It
deviates widely from the conventional Japanese university education
in that it offers a unified curriculum that incorporates both
business and economics, both theory and practice, and both
national and global experience. A cohort of approximately 35
students is annually admitted into the program, maximizing
the synergy between the faculty and students.
