Write a summary of your Event (100 words or more)

Do you know what proverbs are? They are a type of expression. You can use it, when you want to express, general truths or a piece of advice. It can help you tell something complicated easily, and it would be fun to learn. So, I would like to explain about this in my event. First of all,

I will tell you about some general information about Proverbs. Then, I will explain 4 English proverbs that are famous in Japan. After that, I will show you some other examples that are not famous in Japan. Finally, if I have enough time, I would give them a quiz.

What do you want your audience to gain from your Event (50 words or more)

I think some of the students already know many of the Japanese proverbs. But not so many students are sure which ones came from abroad, and they don’t really know how interesting it is. So through the presentation, I want them to learn some English proverbs. And I hope it would become one of many chances to learn English.

What do you want to gain from doing your Event? (50 words or more)

I am shy, and I’m bit afraid of doing a presentation in front of some people. Also, I’m a freshman and I’ve never done something like that before. So, through doing the event, I want to be open, and get used to such experience.

List 5 key vocabulary words (or phrases) that you plan on using during your Event to help students understand the content/main message of your presentation/activity. Be sure to introduce these words sometime at the beginning of your Event.

2. Cultural difference (文化的な違い)
