Write a summary of your Event (100 words or more)

I imagine talking about famous tourist spots in Hawai’i, such as Ala Moana, Waikiki, Hanauma Bay, etc. I would also like to talk about where Hawaiian locals like to hang around (tapioca/boba場: TasteTea, Nice to Meet You, Teapresso, TeaTime, and Hana Tea) and recommend some restaurants (L&L, Highway-Inn, and Zippy’s). If I do not forget to mention this, I would also talk about the best times to visit these places, and if I have more time to kill, I could possibly talk about my hometown as well.

 

What do you want your audience to gain from your Event (50 words or more)

Literally knowing what to do in Hawai’i. If my audience will travel to Hawai’i one day, I would want them to get the full experience. I also want to encourage students to travel to Hawai’i, and possibly study abroad, although I do not know if Konan does that.

 

What do you want to gain from doing your Event? (50 words or more)

I want to have more Konan students come to Hawai’i. So far, I only met students from Kyoto and Tokyo. Also, as a personal gain, I want to know how much Japanese students, or Japanese people in general, know about Hawai’i. There are a lot of Japanese tourists in Hawai’i that I always wonder how they perceive my state.
