Konan University is located on the eastern edge of Kobe City in Okamoto, a well-known residential area between Osaka and Kobe. Kobe is an international city that has assimilated various aspects of Western culture since the Meiji Period. This international flavor of Kobe is reflected in the campus life at Konan University, an institution with many exchange programs that welcome overseas students as well as send Konan students abroad.
