A research skills acquisition program was lectured to young researchers of the University of Reading, a partner research core in the UK.

In this exchange program, a short-stay research skills acquisition program for young researchers is implemented at each research core. As part of our efforts in this regard, we conducted the “Nucleic acid structure prediction and its application program” at FIBER, Konan University.

Associate Professor Takahashi and Research Assistant Professor Fellowship Dr. Ghosh gave a demonstration and lecture to Dr. Kane McQuaid from the University of Reading, the partner research core in the UK, who had recently visited Japan, on how to predict stability of nucleic acids duplexes from the sequence information.
