On Monday, July 6, 2026, a traditional Japanese summer festival was held in the Global Zone, Konan University’s international exchange space. A total of 14 students from the Summer Intensive Japanese Program participated in the event, along with many Konan students and international students from other Asian countries.

The international students enjoyed five traditional Japanese festival games, including yo-yo fishing, ring toss, and target shooting, all of which were organized by Konan students. They shared the unique atmosphere of a traditional Japanese summer festival—something many of them had never experienced before—and created lasting memories together.

It was a great opportunity for the participants to get to know each other and deepen their connections.
