The Institute for Education in Liberal Arts and Sciences (IELAS) promotes a university-wide liberal arts education based on an integrative approach to student development. Its broad educational offerings include general education, health and physical education, foreign language education, and learning support services. These offerings are designed to respond to the evolving needs of society. The IELAS enhances the quality of education at Konan University and oversees the Center for General Studies Education, the Education and Research Center for Sports and Health Science, the Global Education Center, and the Learning Utility Center for Konan University Students. The IELAS Liaison and Coordination Council facilitates coordination among these centers to ensure that their initiatives are implemented effectively and align with the Institute's overarching goals.
