Research Interests
Our research group investigates biomolecular functions, especially those
of DNA, RNA, and proteins. The researches carried out in our group are
centered on nucleic acid interactions for the hybridization and folding,
RNA functions, and roles of the molecular environment on biomolecular functions.
We have been involved in these studies by using designed oligonucleotides
and different experimental approaches ranging from the physical chemistry
to the molecular biology. We also have started to investigate the mechanism
of specificity and redundancy in the molecular recognitions by nuclear
receptor proteins.
