IAI-Jutsu　Learning the world of IAI-Jutsu from Modern “SAMURAI”

日本古来から伝わる日本刀を用いた武術のひとつ「 居合術 」
最近は漫画やアニメの影響もあり世界的に関心が高まっています。
今回の国際塾は修心流居合術兵法の創流者である
町井勲氏を迎え、日本刀の構造や物理的原理に基づく居合や
剣術のあり方を披露して頂きながら武術としての居合の真髄を伝えます。

学年：全学年の日本人学生・留学生

IAI Jutsu is one of the martial arts that use Japanese swords and have been handed down since ancient times in Japan.
Recently , thanks to manga and anime, there has been a great interest in IAI Jutsu worldwide. In this international Cross
Cultural Seminar, we welcome Mr. Isao Machii , the founder of the Shushin ryu IAI Jutsu method of warfare and holder of
six Guinness World Records, including a slashing 840 km/h fast tennis ball and a 6mm BB bullet.
The soul in “IAI“ as a martial art will be conveyed through the structure of a Japanese sword, “IAI“ based on physical
principle and what swordplay should be that is shown by Mr. Machii.
